C.S.A - 9.5/10. It's the Spike Lee mock-documentary on what the US would be like if the South won the war, it is really hilarious. Watch it, it's pure sarcasm, even the fake commercials during it are funny as hell. I loved it.

And SBG, Norton isn't always that bad. For that movie, I can only imagine how ridiculous it was with all the 13/14/15 year old girls dragging their boyfriends around in matching Twilight shirts...at least what I seen when I made the mistake of going there when the first one was playing. I'll still probably being staying away from there the next few weeks, Norton will carry that movie for the new month and a half.

    Re: Last movie you watched

R13, I've been to lots of movies there since it opened. But for a film to go down for as long as it did, in several theaters all at once, and cause the crowd to miss 5-10 min worth of the movie is unacceptable. I could have lived with it had it picked back up right where it left off. But no, it started back up 5-10 min later in the movie. That's horrible for a new theater. Had it been Lee, Wise, or Coeburn it would have been semi-expected. But this is a brand new theater. I'll go back. But only cause I have very little choice due to driving distance.

Was watching the blindside the other night at Norton, and as soon as the actual movie started they reset the sound for the previews...so for the first five minutes we saw Michael Oher and heard about Cavalier Pharmacy haha

What they should have done is either restart the movie from where it messed up at or refunded everyones money that was in that particular theatre. That is just bad business practice to do what they did. Had it been me there, I would have been pi$$ed!

Refund? They'd have lost a lot of money considering it happened in multiple theaters at the same time. It just makes it worse that this was the first showing of a new popular movie. A lot of people did get pis.sed and left. They completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable experience. I'll continue to go there but I will NEVER recommend them to anybody.

I just think of all the money that you and others spent to go and watch the movie and then to have it screwed up. A refund no matter how expensive should have been given or the movie restarted at the place where it stopped. There was no excuse for the way it was managed.

I completely agree. But we're not in charge so it'll never be done the right way.

Chrystal. Its kind of an odd movie starring Billy Bob Thornton. Every time I watch it I like it more.

Norton Cinema is horrible. I'm sitting in here right now, movie scheduled to start 30 mins ago. It started, and lost sound... They tried to fix it and got sound, lost picture. It's almost worth the money to drive to Bristol. This is pathetic.

Completely agree with the poor management in Norton. I can't count on two hands how many screw ups have happened when I go. Twice they forgot that there was anyone in the theater and didn't play the movie until I had to go ask about it. Sound goes out all the time.. and that's on top of the fact the sound isn't very good anyway. The picture is the worst though. Horrible quality, usually not completely in focus, some of the picture wont even be on the screen because someone couldn't take the time to adjust it properly. I hate Norton Cinema. I go because I don't trust my car going to Kingsport, Bristol, or JC.

Seriously, for being the major theater in a specific area, you've got to step your game up.
